Camp Fire USA Dayton Council provides many life-enriching experiences to adult volunteers.    Men and women of all ages and interests are welcome.  Becoming involved with Today's kids and Tomorrow's leaders is a privilege.  You can make a difference in a child's life by donating your time, talent and energy.  Our mission is to build caring, confident youth and future leaders.   Our volunteers breathe life into the Camp Fire USA slogan, “Give Service”.
 
 
Volunteer Position Description
 
 
 
 
 
General Responsibilities
  • Work as a team with the other staff, volunteersand youth at Camp Fire USA
  • Show yourself as a positive role model at alltimes
  • Look for areas where you can help and ask if youhave questions
  • Help when and where needed in the “Areas ofAssistance” described below

 
 
Specific Areas of Assistance
 
  • Homework Assistance
  • Lesson Instruction
  • Educational
  • Tutoring
  • Reading
  • Math Assistance
  • Assist with craft projects, special events and summer day camp
 
 
Time Required
 
  • Monday-Friday after school - Hours depend on program site
